Art Questions

I've been on & off with drawing, but I've always loved it haha. I drew anime characters since I was young and dabbled in graphic design & studio art in high school. 

It was only really in 2019/2020 when I started consistently drawing, and more specifically digital art with anime.

Procreate (my iPad) with PSD for some edits/final touches.

I basically use standard/default ones that are in Procreate:

  • Sketch/Lineart: Water Pen & Procreate Pencil
  • Painting: Water Pen, Hard Blend, Tinderbox
  • Rendering: Hard Blend, Medium blend
I'm the queen of being slow 🤪 jk I do wish I could draw faster. It depends on the complexity of the piece. For quicker sketches (like for TikTok content) it takes me around 1-2 hours. For an actual illustration that I sell, roughly 6-20 hours.

Ah, I can go on & on for this one! I go on Pinterest a lot and I have lots of boards with a variety of images. Pinterest has really good photography, so I prefer it over Google or something lol.

In any case, I would definitely use some kind of search engine to gather references & ideas. I scour through a ton of different photography with backgrounds, lighting, poses, moods, colors...these things help me identify what I want to draw in my piece.

I also have a ton of artists on Twitter & IG that I respect. Like so much. I have a separate folder on my drive where I place my favorite pieces there and just go back to see their details. 

  • Icons, headers, and wallpapers are fine with credit.
  • Reposting is okay with DIRECTLY tagged credit. Please tag/link me appropriately - for example, if you repost on Twitter, tag me with my Twitter account. If you share on a social profile I don't own, add a link. Please give direct credit where it's due lol.
  • Using my art in your TikToks/Reels is OK, but please refrain from heavy editing. You must also directly credit me either in the video or in your caption.
